Steve,

That is very interesting, when using the links module, are links rendered directly?  Or are they using LinkClick.aspx to do the direction.  (Typically you must have Track Clicks" turned on. )

If it is not, can you please try adding a new item and tracking the clicks to see if that works?

Ok, I edited one of my links to track clicks and it stopped working. I unchecked treck clicks and it is working again. However, I do not have track clicks turned on for any of the documents in the documents module. Are we getting closer?

I have this same issue I think.  Im using windows 2008 x86 and IIS7.  I also am using Plesk which adds a lot of handlers.  I can bypass getting the linkclick.aspx 404s by using direct links, but I cannot find a workaround for attached files, ie pdfs that are linked to.  any thoughts?

Steve and jdroger2,

I am sorry, without me accessing the server and looking around, I am not sure of what is the root cause of LinkClick.aspx not working, as I have never had this issue before.

Since the documents module relies on the DotNetNuke Core UrlControl for the generation of file links, the module is at the mercy of that control when it comes to the construction of the URL.  Therefore, proper workings from the handler is needed.

You might try a post in chat about it to see if anyone else has been having the LinkClick.aspx error.

I'm sorry that I cannot provide more assistance on this matter, but I have NEVER had something like this happen where the above steps didn't resolve it.

Steve have you made any progress with this?? I am completely stumped.  I have only two .aspx handlers, but I think that is because my windows 2008 is x86.
