Hi Dario. This error was initially posted back in March 2009. Has this been corrected yet? It has been 8 months now since the original post of this error and I cannot seem to find a fix for this on the dnn site or on codeplex. Is there a fully compliant dnn 5 version of the blog module yet?

I just ran into the same issue and was glad this thread had been bumped. It really would be nice to have the Blog module in a 5.0 compatible version (I'm starting to upgrade my portals from 4.9.4 to 5.2 now). I'd certainly like to help if I had a little more time (and if those modules were developed in C# instead of VB ;-) ).

Is this fixed?  I'm GETTING this now and the fixed suggested don't work for one simple reason, the changes proposed are already in the container .ascx files.  What's next?  If the problem is limited to the BLog engine, uh, that would stand to reason the problem lies in one of THOSE modules/files.  Please post how to fix!

hhhhmmmmm no to very little communication about this issue.  After four days, I've decided to back out my upgrade back to 4.9 and blog about it.  Maybe 5.3 will be more stable?

This problem was reported just over one year ago and despite numerous people reporting that they have encountered the same error there has been virtually no response from the Blog Module Development team nor the large DNN support community in the past  six months.  Now, there are blogs appearing documenting the frustration many people are having getting this Blog bug addressed.  Unfortunately, I was not aware of this issue before upgrading my site recently to DNN 5.1.4 and I (and my customers) are now experiencing the infamous blog error.  With the popularity of blogging being at a high it is a commonly requested feature for people these days. As such I'm a bit surprised this error hasn't garnered more attention.  Can someone let all of us know when a fix might be expected?  I really like DNN and have been using it since version 1.3; however, when I see than many people have waited a year now for a fix with no response, I think I may need to look at other options to the DNN Blog such as BlogEngine.NET or even a PHP based solution.   Hoping to get a response from DNN on this issue!
