I went back and checked my container and made sure it didn't have anything odd in it. I did discover that I somhow left out the contentpane ID and info out of the appropriate table. Not sure how that happened. Anyway, I added it back in and reuploaded and now I am running great. I still have some odd text showing up at the bottom of modules when logged in as host, but the front-end presentation looks great. Not sure everything is 100%, but I can use the site.

Maybe check your code in the aspx file of your generated container and modify locally and upload it again. It might work.

I still don't know why the whole site went down over this or what the error means. At this point I am glad it is fixed. If anyone could shed some light, I would like to know so I can avoid it in the future.

BV.

I was doing some reading and found the link below. It says to repair the issue all you need to do is delete or rename the skin folder of the skin causing the problem and dotnetnuke will default back to the default skin. I have already reinstalled my dotnetnuke, but if anyone else is still having the problem please let us know if it fixes the issue.
