I did an upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1.1   Now logging in returns "Login Failed..."

I remember that this occurred on an earlier upgrade so I updated my Authentication table entries so only the DNN had IsEnabled at True (the other two entries I set to "0" or False.)

Unfortunately, this did not correct my problem.  What other step do I need to take for this to work again?

Could it be you have used the new web.config file from the new package and forget to copy the maschine Keys from the old web.config ?

Matthias,

I copied the machine keys from my backup file, and that corrected the problem.  Thank you.  I also switched the authentication table back to all True (1).  It still all seems to work.
