Thanks Sebastian,

I did check earlier today with the hosting company re. relay and the answer that they gave me was that the SMTP server is set-up to accept mails from any valid IP belonging to them.

The strange thing is that I set the user registration option to private which normally also sends an email to the administrator email address of the portal. Those emails are not being received either.

I take it you suspect that it's definitely an SMTP server configuration issue then?

if other mails like registration notifications or - easiest to test - admin :: newsletter don't get delivered to the recipients, suspicions items are DNN Host Settings and SMTP configuration for the SMTP account being used.

I tested the admin :: newsletter and that is being delivered when using a domain email address as the sender and a foreign email address as the recipient. Tested the Form and List again and those emails are not being delivered.
