I have a single portal on a multi-portal DNN instance that is having a weird issue.  The admins for that portal see the File Manager with all features "disabled" even though the portal is in Edit mode.  All other portals on this DNN instance are functioning fine.

I created a new Admin account myself to verify, and sure enough, this is happening.  It is a DNN 05.04.01 instance.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

UPDATE: I upgraded this DNN site from 05.04.01 to 05.04.02 and this problem remains and only on the one portal. Has no one experienced this before?

Any chance you accidentally set File Manager as a premium module or unassigned it from that portal?

Great suggestion!  Though, this wasn't the issue.  As much as I hoped it would be, the File Manager is assigned to all portals, and the admins of the portal in question have the ability to deploy.

I haven't experienced this, but just out of curiosity, did you check the NTFS permissions on the child portals directory on the server (or any sub-directories of it)? Also, are you capable of using/uploading files to the DNN file system via other modules? The other spots to check: Folder table, then folder perms from there; Page permissions (make sure admin is in tabpermission table); Module permissions.
