Hi Guillermo,
You have a different problem. On your Search Results page is missing the Search Results module. Add one and you will be fine.

This is also happening on one of our customer sites, I have exhausted all the usual checks and still no search results with the same error.

Upgrade to 5.6.2 is not going to be easy for them, so I wonder if the upgrade has helped anyone with this issue.

but upgrade to 5.6.2
Delete search Results module from the search result page
add search result module back in search result page and check all the details are correct in page settings

search works now.

Not exact science but what ever it was, it worked for this customer.

I had the same error on a fresh install of a child portal 5.6.1. Salar's solution of deleting the search results module and then adding a new one solved my problem as well.

Good one Salar!

We had the some trouble with a demo site here: http://www.churchwebsitehost.com/demo/Home.aspx

A new install of DNN 5.6.1 and no search. To be clear, we did not update to 5.6.2 but just deleted then installed the Search Results module to the search results page. All good after that.
