Hello,

I have an issue with two domains and 1 site.  I have two domain www.domainA.com and www.domainb.com.  The DNN site was created on DomainA so what I want to do is have both domains work with the one DNN site.

So if a user goes to www.domainb.com then the URL stays as domainb, but if the user goes to domainA.com then it stays as domainA.

To try and do this I have done the following:

1. Added domainb as an alias in DNN portal alias
2. Added domainb as domain alias in plesk under domainA.

I am not sure whatelse to do besides cloning the site from domainA to domainB and connecting to the same database.  Not even sure if this is possible.

Please any help is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Michael

Michael It should be a straight forward 2 step process. Ensure both URLs point to the IP address of the site (in DNS). Ensure both URLs are listed as aliases in DNN (Only other thing to consider is if the IP address is shared and IIS headers need to be configured). See http://www.sdgtechnology.com.au/ and http://www.naqitsolutions.com.au/ both are the same site. Hope this helps Brad

Michael, your steps sound to be correct, however be aware that this setup is not optimal for Search Engine Optimisation, please check Google Webmaster tools and explanations for details, if this is an issue for you.
