Hi Steve,
Thanks for posting here in the forums.

As an employee of PowerDNN and a long time member of the DotNetNuke community, I can tell you that you should choose your hosting provider based off of two main factors:
1)  The level of support YOU want to provide for your website.
2)  The level of support you want your hosting provider to provide for your website.

If you're a DotNetNuke expert and you don't have any real performance requirements, by all means, you should consider looking at the companies above, but keep in mind, you'll get what you pay for.

The reason that PowerDNN is the largest DotNetNuke hosting provider in the world is that we take a professional, full-service approach to DotNetNuke hosting.  Below are a few key points about PowerDNN:
1)  PowerDNN gives all shared hosting customers a 15-day free, UP-FRONT trial (this means that we don't even charge your credit card until day 16 of your service.  If you don't like us in the first 15 days, cancel and you won't even have to worry about a refund).

2)  All PowerDNN customers get a free 1-hour DotNetNuke training session after signing up.

3)  At PowerDNN, our english-speaking DotNetNuke experts answer the phone 24/7.  We'll never farm your phone call to a third party or a call center.

On the tech side, there's also a few other things that may interest you:
1)  Unlimited App Pool size
2)  Unlimited Domains
3)  Unlimited email accounts
4)  Free KeepAlive ON EVERY SITE.
5)  Free DotNetNuke security scans every week
6)  Free SiteOptimizer Performance Enhancer (Only PowerDNN has this)
7)  (COMING SOON) Free PowerCache to all customers (PowerCache is a proprietary DotNetNuke extension that offers extreme DotNetNuke performance gains.  It was previously only available to high end multi server webfarm/cloud clients, but we're in the process of making it available to all of our customers.)

Of course, there are plenty of other reasons to host with us as well, but I don't want this to become any more of a pitch than it already is.  :-)  On a side note, however, if you decide that PowerDNN is not the hosting provider for you, I would recommend that you take a look at Rackspace - while they do not provide technical assistance for DotNetNuke itself, they do offer very good support and will also be able to take care of you.  If you're justing wanting something cheap and don't care about support, then you should take a look at GoDaddy.

Thanks luhuagang. I signed up with 3Essentials. So far the support seems fine, and they did a complete install of the latest DNN for me. So no complaints, yet.
