I have similar problem and I read the whole thread. I am happy this has been resolved in new version. Now I have very dumb question to ask that how to upgrade a module, I neverd did this before. Becasue if delete existing module then all of my picture galleries will be lost. How to upgrade Gallery module without loosing existing data.

Hello,

       Upgrading a module is very easy.  Just install the new one and the old one is automaticly upgraded. This works with most modules and this is one of them.  You don't have to delete the old module first.
