Currently My site is working on IP and now I am planning to bind the website with the current domain name. But when I go to the portal alias section I found it different from dnn earlier version. In earlier version only one textbox was available where we add the domain name and the portal alis added. But Now I found..

PortalAlias Mapping Mode: This setting determines how the site responds to urls which are mapped to the site but are not currently in the list of aliases. None - the new url is not mapped, Canonical - the new url is automatically mapped but is handled as a Canaonical url, Redirect - the url is automatically mapped but is redirected to the default alias.

Default Alias: The default alias is used in conjunction with the Mapping Mode. If the mode is set to Canonical then the default alias is used as the canonical alias for search engines. If the mode is redirect then the default alias is used as the permanent redirect.

Now If I add the domina name (www.abc.com) as portal alias then which option I need to select above to run the website on my domain, DO I need to add the alias with www or with www ..Please suggest me..how to configure the alias.. I am using dnn5.6.2
