I, too, have broken "manage" buttons.  In addition to the "manage" buttons being broken, DDR menu disappears completely (it is replacing a solpart menu).  It's loading a style #dnn_dnnSOLPARTMENU_ctldnnSOLPARTMENU with display:none.  I assume these are related... but possibly not.  Both started when I upgraded to 6.1.1.  Suggestions?

 Do you run any 3rd party modules and what ?

 My problem appears to be related to the Event Calendar & Registration module from invenmanager.com.  When I remove it, the manage buttons and menu return.  But this is new in 6.1.1; under 6.0.1, this conflict did not exist.

Hey equaTEK,

I can't speak directly to the module you're using, but it does sound like a compatibility issue with 6.1.1 - please read this blog post for more information.

Thanks,

We are having the same problem after the upgrade to 6.1.1  The site uses JDmenu in the skin. I have tried all the suggested fixes in this thread but nothing seems to work. The admin host menu does not work and the manage buttons don't either. The html modules on the page cannot be edited. If you click on the edit content link at the bottom of the module it goes to a page can not be displayed. Any new ideas on how to fix this.

Since the new manage button is just a an action menu you can also replace it with your own.

On client sites tha had all kinds of obscure 3rd party jQuery powered modules I I simply replaced them with the ddrmenu action menu based on either the superfish template or the dropdpwn template (simple HTML combo box with postback ) works in every skin i tried

You can get the ddrmenutemplates from codeplex and then all you need is to modify your containerswith

<%@ Register TagPrefix="ddr" TagName="ACTIONS" Src="~/DesktopModules/DDRMenu/actions.ascx" %>
<ddr:ACTIONS runat="server" id="dnnACTIONS" MenuStyle="Dropdown"/>
