I copied the 4.3.5 Upgrade zip over my website, carefully renamed and edited the release.config to web.config.  The upgrade process will not kick off when I browse to the site. This is on a remote hosted server. I've tried typing the entire install string Install.aspx?mode=Install and nothing happens - just says Done.  When I do mode=none it says there is nothing to upgrade.  I added the installation Date to all settings, and tried a few other keys but can't get it started.  The site still works except for can't get to users to administer and the other problems noted in similar popsts.  Any ideas?

Hi,

I am confused about the difference between the starter kit and the source download versions.

I am not sure which one I should download.

Thanks,

Blaze

Forgive my incompetence, but...

I can not seem to get DNN to install. I have followed the installation docs line by line. Server 2003, SQL2005, All account settings/user permissions have been set, and still I get the error If using Windows 2003 - IIS6
- the NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE User Account must have Read, Write, and Change Control of the virtual root of your website

I have checked and rechecked this, so I know it is not the issue. Is there some other obscure setting that I need to look at? Any help?
