...or I could do a search in Gemini to see if the issue has been resolved since I believe fixes and enhancements to AF and AS should all be in the current 6.2 release and source is based on latest version from AM.  Let me know if this would be welcome or not, off the top of my head we are talking about 20-30 issues, a handful of which are indeed critical usability issues.

it's probably better to wait for 6.2.0 to be released - the active social integration is not a direct port, so many of the AS issues may no longer be relevant. Similarly the AF module is an adapted version of AF that integrates in some additional functions that were part of the core forums module (and adds some 6.2.0 capabilities) - again, probably better to wait until it's released (around the 6.2.0 timeframe). Please note, the new forums module will have a seperate issuetracker (in codeplex) and not the support.dotnetnuke.com which is only for code we ship.

I am finding the performance of 6.1.5 really good, and I think the client resource management is a great idea.

However, I am running a new 6.1.5 website with no extra modules installed and it is using up to 500mb of memory on my VPS. DNN 5.x.x installs on the same server seem to use around 200mb max and they are much more popular websites. Can anyone explain the huge memory increase using 6.1.5 or suggest any ideas to lower memory usage?

Why ? Don't you own AF now ? I don't get it.

Also i don't see any reports or anything about the conversion method from the old forums to the new ones.

Why the whole new forums thing is such a secret ?

What do you mean 'performance is really good', can you offer up some metrics so we know what the good performance is relative to?  I did see in Gemini a performance fix for 6.1.5 but no clues about how performance was affected defect or fix.  I do intend to setup a test site and evaluate.
