DNN offers paid for support . . .

But at a guess the problem is more than likely somewhere in your router/proxy chain as opposed to in DNN. Personally I would be looking at WHY things are SLOW ? We run any number of DNN hostings that have not a single issue with performance or caching.

I'd be starting with looking at your HOSTING provider - and getting them to explain the bad performance of your hosting.

I'm having the exact same problem with a brand new install of 6.02.01. Exactly what Gavin describes. Remove a module and sometimes it'll still pop back up. Even after clearing cache or restarting, it pops up. This is in host or admin mode.

Turning of caching can't be the solution, as then the users would not benefit from the speed, and I agree, it's un-usuably slow without caching--and all performance settings have been implemented.

Has a solution been found?

I'm having a similar problem where new content, added through the HTML module or another module, won't be shown in certain browsers (usually IE and Chrome). To solve the issue I have to clear the cache and restart the application. Then, the content is finally shown in all browsers. I've set caching to the default of "moderate", which doesn't solve the issue.

This is a DNN 6.2.2 installation, which followed the suggested upgrade path from DNN 4.9, through the DNN 5.x branch.

Thoughts?

Matt
