I would recommend reading the links at http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/... to get some good background on skinning.

As to your question about the login link, perhaps your new skin doesn't contain a [LOGIN] skin object?

Finally, the menu question - the blog you indicate is ~4 years old so I'm guessing there is some issue with browser detection. I'd recommend you inspect the gravity skin and just copy it's DDRmenu definition - you can read about ddr and the options for custom templates (in either tokens, xslt or razor) at http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/...

Thank you for your willingness to help me.
I've solved the CSS problem (maybe it was a problem with the server, I asked someone to verify for me), as well the Login problem is solved.

I still have a problem with the menu. I had to install another menu module (http://dnnmenu.codeplex.com/) because I need a three level menu. I edit the ascx file according to configuration guide on DNNmenu website, adding the lines of code to top of my skin file:
<%@ Register TagPrefix="AZ" TagName="Menu" Src="/DesktopModules/AZ.DNNMenu/Menu.ascx" %>

After parsing, the ascx skin file in the folder has its lines of code changed to:
<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="MENU" Src="~/Admin/Skins/SolPartMenu.ascx" %>

Would it be another problem in my local server?

your skin probably contains a [MENU] or dnn:menu tag - if you're using a different menu you have to ensure you use the correct tagname e.g. AZ:MENU -see http://www.dnn-menu.com/help/GetStart...

Ok, I've solved the problems.
The CSS problem was maybe due a local server issue.
The login problem was a page setting.
The menu problem was a conflict between html skin and ascx files on the server.

Thanks again for your attention.
