Hi,

I am going to go live. So I have deployed dnn7.4 community edition in preproduction server. I have added portal alias in dnn as pln.xxxxx.com ( Public) and the public IP is nated with private IP (IIS server IP) is 192.0.0.11:801 but I am getting  "404 - File or directory not found." error. Do I have missed anything in dnn portal configuration? Could you reply me.

The same public ip is working fine with some other dotnet application. DNN is working fine with my Private IP ut not in Public IP.

Is your live site able to connect to the DB?  Have you verified that you DB connection in the web.config is accurate?

Is your live site IIS instance running >= ASP.net 4.0 in integrated mode??

You might try putting a static file in your root directory and calling it to see if there is a network or IIS issue...

I would try the static file route, but additionally it looks like you are using a custom port number based on your notes there. You might need to add the value of true for UsePortNumber in the web.config if that is the case.

- DB is connected using preproduction server private IP.

- Yes. IIS is running ASP.net 4.0 in integrated mode

- This morning only tried for static file. The static file (test.htmll) is able to browse like pln.xxxx.com/test.html
