I tried upgrade to 7.4.1. Did not fix it.

I tried reapplying the permissions (they were there already). I saved the dialog w/o changes. Did not fix it.

I tried Sebastian's script. Did not fix it.

I looked in the source code, but I failed to find where/how the image manager is set to a path. I found some resx file entries that seemed relevant (in D:\vsprojects\DotNetNuke_Community_Dev\Dnn.Platform\Website\DesktopModules\Admin\HtmlEditorManager\App_LocalResources\ProviderConfiguration.ascx.resx) , but they are either unused or I dismally failed to find where they are used.

Any ideas where to look?

Best wishes,

Richard,
How many portals are running in that installation of DNN?
The FolderPermissions table contains security for the folders. The Administrators role # should have permissions 5, 6 and 8 set (Read, Write and Browse).
If memory serves, in the older file manager, Administrator permissions weren't necessary and upgrading didn't necessarily set the permissions for Administrators.
Pertinent SQL tables are: Folders, Permission, Roles and FolderPermission.
