Great,  we appreciate your work.

By the way, when it is fixed, would you please write a notice here so we can try it again?

I've updated the VS Gallery release to 6.1 https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.micr... sorry about that earlier, too many different places to put a release these days!

Thank you Chris, much appreciated.

May I ask if you get any backing from DNN Corp for this work? I am a bit worried for the future of DNN as a developer as I don't really get the feeling that there is that much developer support these days and the activity in the forums seems much lower today than a few years ago. That said, DNN today is of course a hybrid between open source and a commercial software, not sure how much different things are if you are an EVOQ customer.

Which version of the MVC module template did you use (my original template, the updated template from DNNSoftware, or the one from Chris Hammond)?&nbsp; What directory did you use when creating your module?&nbsp; It sounds like you didn't create your module in the Desktopmodules/MVC directory.&nbsp; This directory contains a web.config file which sets up the proper base class for views. That base class is where the @dnn helper is wired up.&nbsp; That is likely the root of your problems.</div>

Hi Joe,

I used the latest 6.1 version of Chris templates. Since the install ZIP works find I am quite certain that it isn't a path problem, also it builds to the correct BIN folder etc. That said, you make a valid point that it is very important to make sure you put these modules in the correct folder (and remember to clear the checkbox for folder) or you will have problems.
