everything is ok with web.config. When I create a link in FCK editor to a file in the portal it shows in the url the linkclick.aspx file, for example: /LinkClick.aspx?link=htm%2faterro.swf&tabid=77 and the link doesn't work.

Best regards

The same routine is used by all most modules creating links. Try using a simple links module and create a link to your file (The same file please) then post your results here.

Hi Locopon, I'm going to pick up where ricado left off. I have the same error and was following this thread but it seems to have stopped.

I was using a default install of 4.3.3. I created a lot of out Intranet using the default text editor but then I installed FCKEditor 2.3 (Build 1054). The links i create to pages are fine. But the links to files that reside on the site are all given the LinkClick.aspx?Link= url. Instead of the friendly url. I upgraded to 4.3.4 but no change.

I do that that code in my Web.Config

This is a really big issue for me as I am building a corporate intranet and need to link to files that reside in the portal file manager. Unless I can get this resolved I can see no option but to uninstall FCKEditor :(

Suggestions? Thanks in advance, Darren Stahlhut

Hi dstahlhut

This is hardcoded inside the linkclick routine (Core code). I am reviewing this issue and searching for a hack to avoid this, but I need to ask the core team if there is a specific reason for this (Maybe prevention of invalid chars inside the filename or something similar)

I will come soon with more info

P.D. You always have the option of FTB but I this it is using the URL control for links too. A post into gemini from you inside the Core DNN project can be helpful.

P.D.2: Please don't try to press people working free for you
