linkclick is in DNN the pendant to the URL control and cares for save deliver of URL to files, tabs or external URL. Using this, you are able to move tabs (via manage pages) and files (via DNN file manager) without concerns about broken links. URLControl and LinkClick also care about opening in new window, handling of secure storage / store in database, tracking and logging of link clicks.

Hi Locopon,

RE P.D.2: First off I really hope I didnt offend you. Like so many other DNN users I work in an IT Department of large company (or gov department) and I am using DNN for our corporate intranet. When a bug arises of course I want to see it resolved asap, but that doesn't mean for one second that I am not very greatful to you and the entire DNN community who devote their time and knowledge into developing and fixing DNN for free, you all do a fantastic job.

I have found lots of threads in other forums (Links etc) that refer this problem so the issue is not isolated to FCKEditor and seems to be a core bug that I've read will be resolved in the next release. I very happy because I love using the FCKEditor and hated the thought of going back to FTB.
