Can someone please tell me how to get around this very aggrivating problem?

In DNN 4.3 you choose the basic blue fixed 800 px wide skin with a vertical menu.  Insert a 790 px wide image into the top pane and in IE everything goes well over 800 px wide, in Firefox, it all stays at 800 px!

Someone, please help!!

It's actually 770 px (not 800 px).  Just reduce your image width to below that.

For future reference, Jean-Marie, the best forum for skinning related questions is probably the Make it Hot! ( Skinning ) forum.  I think I'll move this thread over there for you....

Are you actually inserting a wide image?  Or referencing a small image (like a spacer) and setting the image width?

I am inserting a wide Image the width does not seem to matter between 700 and 770 px wide.  In IE there is a large padding area added that does NOT exist when the same page is viewed in Firefox.  It does not matter if I use the old Image module, Media Module, or Text/HTML module.  All have the same effect, in IE the width of the page is streched because of the padding, while in firefox it is not.

Go to this page in both IE and Firefox to see what I am talking about.  I could not make this page any more basic than this:

Do you see what I am talking about? See how the page width in IE is much wider and has spaces compared to Firefox? I just assumed lots of people have seen this problem before.

Thanks again for any help.

Image module is no longer supported.  Use the Media module instead.
