The only thing I can think of that would cause this is if you were missing the line in web.config (httpHandlers section):

  <add verb="*" path="LinkClick.aspx" type="DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FileServerHandler, DotNetNuke"/>

Can you check and see if it is there?

Hi Anthony,

Yes, "<add verb="*" path="LinkClick.aspx" type="DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FileServerHandler, DotNetNuke" />" is found on Line 74 of the web.config file

The line of code is in there.

I turned of the Compression on the web.config file and this appears to have fixed my problem.i.e

Hi Robert,

I'd like to try this to see if this correct my issues as well. Could you please elaborate on turning off compression of the web.config file? Is that string added to the web.config file itself? If so, where did you place it.

Thank you,

Brian

Hi,
I had the same problem. I also turned off the Compression in the web.config and everything is fine now. Thank you!

Regards!
