More than 1 forum instance?

I have a client who would like 2 separate instances of the Forum module (on different tabs).
Is this possible and are there any known issues if it is please.

 Thanks

I wouldn't recommend it in any version previous to Module version 4.3 (which is not released yet). Honestly, I am not digging into anyone's requirements I have just found the need for seperate instances in the same portal to not make much sense to me at all when you can use the Group feature like we do here on dnn.com. Considering each user account is portal specific, the only change you would get by having seperate instances in the same portal is the ability to set the theme different for each one.

Hi Crispy
Thanks for your informative reply.  As I thought - not a good idea. Interesting to hear that it may be possible soon though.
The question came up as the client wants to discuss some sensitive (to their organisation) issues. I know that I can use roles and groups to achieve this but given that we all occasionaly mistakenly expose controls and set permissions incorrectly it seemed worth asking as a second forum instance would ring fence the private areas.

Thanks
