i too, am new here, but we want to list our repository submissions so that they can be access more specifically. does a module/mod exist to allow categories/sub-categories/sub-sub-catetories so that we can itemize the submission more precisely?  Having these drill down categories displaying in the dashboard would be great too.

i.e. a webuser clicks on 'animation' - sub categories appear '1x' '2x' '3x' -  the webuser selects the sub-category and another level of drop down appears - when clicked - it displays the items within that specific group.

sorry if this is a known issue (or a mickey mouse question), but DNN seems to be great - just trying to taylor it to the needs here.

There's been a lot of interest in this feature. Some time back an individual had accomplished Subcategories but I never saw his code...you might find his post in threads back in early '06. I believe it would require a substantial amount of changes to the existing codebase. With any luck, subcategories will be one of the selected enhancements included in the maintenance release slated for Feb '07. It's one I'd like to see.

Thanks for the reply - i'm glad i'm not alone, but i was really hoping i could use DNN instead of writing something like this,From Scratch, in ColdFusion <g>
