Some more options are to use a unique skin on each page, specifying a StartTabId for the menu in each skin.  The other option is to use the free SolpartMenuModule (www.solpart.com) and use the XPath portion to specify your root.

Hello,

When i try to use the SolpartMenuModule i keep taking error messages "invalid at the top level of the document". If you have any idea why this hapens?

Thank you in advance

I am not sure what the problem is with invalid top level xml, I haven't reviewed the module in about a year.  However, this is only an issue if you are using the Cached XML File property (in the dropdown on the Menu Data Designer).  In your case I think you want to use the DNN Tabs with some Xpath statement.  Tip:  in the module, if you hover over the textboxes you will see helpful tooltips.

I am sorry to say the error invalid at the top level of the document is with all modes of the menu in DNN 4.5.1. To bad I would love to use the menu I just do not have time to debug all the code. Well maybe some day this great open source solution will have a good menu module.
