Hi Sebastian,

I changed the "Identity" attribute of the Advanced Settings for my DnnDemo AppPool and then recycled the pool.

Unfortunately, the error message persists.

Thanks for posting.

Yes my domain account is the sysAdmin on that SQL Server and has rights and db_owner role for several databases on this box including the DnnDatabase database.

Joe, the user specified in App Pool Advanced Settings need Modify permission for the DNN Folder in Windows File System.
What is the error message you get?

No I mean you actually need to test it works by copying those creds into the SSMS dialog and checking that you can do something to the database. Else you only know that you think it should work.

Yes. The Domain account I am using is sysadmin on  that SQL Server.
