It uses SQL Server authentication because you specified UID and PWD.

If you want to use a windows account then it's something like

Data Source=.;Integrated Security=True;Initial Catalog=;

Thanks for the post!

So, I have done 2 things and now get a different (but not good) result:

1: Connection String is now:

<add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=localhost;Integrated Security=True;Initial Catalog=DNN;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

2:SQL Server account has been changed:

Folowing your blog post at http://www.dynamisys.co.uk/ForumsBlog...

I have configured the SQL Server to have the IIS account as the Login account per the instructions.

Result:

Now the Installation web page appears, but says:

No valid default database connection detected. Standard Database setup option is unavailable

Any ideas?
