I have visual web developer and .net framework 2.0 installed. I had attached error in dotnetnuke compiled module installation. The version I am instllaing is the starter kit 4.4.0.

Please help!

In the content installation step, DotNetNuke Compiled Module cannot be installed successfully. The error message is: "Installation stopped because the directory for the ProjectType value did not exist.  The project type is invalid for your installation of Visual Studio." Thank for your reply!

If you try to install a new Starter Kit...

1) Go to
C:\Documents and Settings\[YourMachineName]\Application Data\Microsoft\VWDExpress\8.0\ProjectTemplatesCache\Visual Web Developer

delete DotNetNuke.zip

2) Go to
C:\Documents and Settings\[YourMachineName]\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual Web Developer

and

C:\Documents and Settings\[YourMachineName]\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Web Developer

Delete .zip files

3) Then reinstall Starter Kit

Thank you for the suggestions! I tried but still have the same error message. Any other suggestion?
