I'd start by reinstalling asp.net on your IIS machine

start->run-> CMD

type

c: hit enter

cd \ hit enter

cd windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2 hit tab after v2 hit enter

aspnet_regiis -i will reinstall IIS

You also might try as suggested in the KB article (link in the error message)

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=267904

aspnet_regiis –ga <WindowsUserAccount>

I would have 1 additional recommendation.  I would first uninstall ASPNET via aspnet_regiis.exe -u then I would run the install, I have had better luck with that in the past!
