Our company has a need where depending on the user, some content would need to be different, so I have set up two different portals.

However, some content needs to be exactly the same (shared modules, and corresponding data) across the multiple portals. Is there an easy way to accomplish this without having to enter the data multiple times?

Can modifications be made to the TabModules table to accomplish this?

Thanks.

You should use a single portal and use groups to display appropriate content to separate groups of users.

Jeff,

Thanks. I though of the samething this morning.

Is there a way to change the skin color for the different user groups too? I know it can be done on the module level, but can it be done on the site level? So one group sees one skin, while another group sees a different skin. (They'll be the same style, but different colors)

This is why I was using different portals.

In your skin file (ascx) you can put code that  checks if a user is in a certain group and then load the appropriate skin css file.
