Hi All...

I transferred our DNN site to another server, restored the DB, Set the
connections strings & updated the Portal Alias.

I'm receiving the following error message when browsing the site.

Unhandled Error

Error Details

File
Error   Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'LogEventID', table 'VivoSocial.dbo.EventLog'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. The statement has been terminated.

I can't understand what would trigger this error when it's running fine on my local machine.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Trent

it seems to be a problem with the 3rd party module 'VivoSocial , perhaps they might have a better idea what the issue is -it's not one ive ever seen.

Hi Cathal,

Just today I figured out the issue.  I scripted the DB along with data to import from 2008 to 2005
and as such it apparently didn't keep the primary key values.

That seems to be the cause.  I really appreciate your response.

Have a great weekend.
