Hi, Having migrated a client site to a shared hosting provider the site renders fine but users cannot login (Including the host). Desperate to get this working so any suggestions would be helpful! Cheers Marc

Are the machine keys the same in your web.configs?

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion, what am I comparing them with?

Barry S would be asking if the machine keys in the site's web.config after migration are the same as those in the web.config of the site pre-migration.

When you say that users cannot login, am I correct that they can see the appropriate login controls after clicking "login" but after entering username and password receive an invalid username/password error?

Is the content of the old site appearing correctly on the new site following the migration? If not, I would verify that the database connection strings in web.config were properly modified to point to the SQL server database of the new site.

If the site url has changed because of the migration, please be sure that the new url has been added to the core PortalAlias table.
