Can I ask a question:
What browser are you using?

I use IE7 and then IE 8 on a different machine and IE9 and then Firefox.  It did NOT work on any of these.

I tried Opera and Safari & Google Chrome, ALL of these worked.

WOW that is strange!!!!

maybe old code has been cached, did you try Shift-F5 for full reload of the page?

How can this be true????????

If I go to Module Definition page on Host tab: which is http://pol.pearland.com/PTL/Host/Modu...

it loads FINE

Yet when I am on that page and select page to Select Module: which is  http://POL.pearland.com/PTL/Host/Modu...

It takes over two minutes to give me page not found as described in my first post on this thread. However I can select "Go Bak to previous page" on that error page it goes back JUST FINE.  So I am on internet and DNS works to find previous page and ANY page on inetenet.

If I go directly to the Slect Moduule page (copy URL from here and do NOT go through Module Definitions page) the after I login the page loads, but THEN it dies after I select a module and after long pause I get SAME error. YET again I select go back to same page it works FINE.

I am just at a loss as to what to do next. I am getting close to 3 days spent on this and I do NOT want to go back to Visual Studio LOL.

Could someone please try it from outside my network?

the Host password is houston (all lower case)

I would appreciate any suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do appreciate your help, you have solved SEVERAL issues in the past for me.

HELP

I still can NOT get DNN to work right, I have installed it and uninstalled it MANY times .  This is driving me CRAZY.  One nice thing is I have the Install PDF memorized   LOL.

It is not the fire wall because I changed the server to an outside IP without any firewall and SAME results.  SO I put it back inside firewall.

I have determined it was NOT the browser.  It was a conflict in the App pool which is defined in DefaultAppProperties under the application pools tab in IIS.

If I allow for more application pools (default seems to be 1) and have them recycle often then I can add modules to DNN, BUT it causes MANY other problems.

Does anyone know how I can RESET the IIS to factory defaults????

I tried to just remove IIS (add remove Windows components), then reboot and add it back, but the setting stay the same.

I am about to give up, but I LIKE DNN TOO MUCH to give up..

Maybe I will try to find another Win 2003 server to try it on, but I am NOT sure where.

Thanks
