Ok, I have tried this 3 times now. Same result each time. After completing the Host password settings, I then fill out the Admin password settings and I hit next. Then I wait and after about 30-40 seconds it returns with Request Timed out....  Trying to get this install going so I can show my boss and we can get a PO to pay for the Pro Version... So any help would be greatly appriciated.

which install option are you using, I suggest using custom, this will split up installation in multiple steps and reduce the risk of timeouts.

If you are having trouble with the wizard, you could also try doing a manual installation. This would consist of creating a fresh database, copying in the files to the root directory, and then editing the web.config file to point to the new database. Once this is done, simply browse the URL and it should trigger the install scripts. Feel free to contact me if you run into any other problems.

Sorry if this gets posted twice... it didn't seem to take the first time I posted it...

Sebastian - I ran the install as custom and it seemed like it was going good until it got to the Portal Administrator screen. Put in the information, clicked next and same thing, after about a minute or so, it timed out....

Ricardo - I am not sure how this is that much different than a normal install. I copied all the files into the web root directory, set up a blank database, put the connection information into the web config. The only thing that was different was that it had the default information already populated on the database screen... But again at the Portal Administrator screen it times out.

I guess I will try and download the code again. Maybe something is corrupt.

Best Regards,

Jamie McShan

I decided to download the community version of the install. It went in just fine. Next step is to download a new copy of the pro trial and try one more time...
