Hi,I'm trying to install the new version 6.1.2, but from the wizard, when i start the database install, the log textbox is always displaying : Undefined....Successed.But from SQL Server, my database seems to be well created after that. So, if i restart the wizard, i'm going directly to the next step : choosing login and password for superuser. But after setting values, the validation doesn't work and refresh this same page... Then, i can not terminate the install wizard.I tried many times, with SQL Express or SQL. I defined authorisations for everyone from my DNN root folder. So, i don't see what to do to avoid this strange behavior.Have you got an idea please ?Thank you.

Delete everything, re-recreate it using a different name and try again.

For example, if you called your folder and database "Dotnetnuke", delete them and re-create both called "Dotnetnuke1" or some other name other than "Dotnetnuke".

Oddly enough this has worked for me on a few occasions although I don't know why.

I wouldn't use the source code. Stick with the install files.

In the past, this always seemed to be a database issue. Post your exact steps along with the sql server version and I'll see if I can help.

Thank you for help Mark.

In fact, i note the tables and store procedures are created, but no row are filled inside tables.

This is my steps :

1. Unzip Install Package on a folder named DNN621
2. Create new website on IIS7 named DNN621, mapped on the previous folder created, with port 80 and app pool DNN621
3. Add permissions for the folder DNN621 : IIS APPPOOL\DNN621
4. Create an empty database named DNN621
5. Open web.config and set Connectionstring and Appsetting for name=SiteSqlServer (SQLServer2008) : Data Source=localhost;Initial Catalog=DNN621;User ID=xxx;Password=xxxxxxx
6. Run the website and enter into the wizard (InstallWizard.aspx)
7. Choose Typic Install for first step
8. Continue after checking and valdating rights for second step
9. Verify DB data for third step + add object qualifier "dnn_"
10. The install is starting for the fourth step but the javascript log failed : only one line appeared : Database Installation  - Version 06.00.00...
so i'm stopping the website. I can see in SQL Server that my db is not created
11. Restart website and have to retry the wizard once more. For the fourth step, now a second line "Undefined...Succeeded" appears in loop after the first one described above. So, i'm stopping the WebSite. I can see in SQL Server my db is created this time, but no row are added inside any table
12. Restart website once more, and arrive in UpgradeWizard.aspx. I can't fill credential for superuser because no row are added in DB for dbo.dnn_Users ...

Hope it can help you to see my problem !
Thank you, bye.
