Wow! I don't know what happened! I grabbed a little knowledge from this website and I was successful getting my site to perform better. Threw on page blaster, threw on the seo module and things were really picking up. Then all of a sudden my websites started to slow down drastically. It seemed like my whole server was getting slow too! It took a whole minute, just to bring up the "services" tab on my dedicated server. It's strange. One page will load super fast and then the next page takes forever to load, if at all.

Does this sound familiar to anyone and what remedy would you suggest?

Other applications I have loaded on the server is a keepalive I recently purchased and flash communicator 2.0 (not being used) I thought the keep alive would speed things up. But, it does not seem to be working right now.

check DNN and Server Event Log, check for App restarts, check for Memory usage. When you run out of Memory, content will be constantly swapped from RAM to disk.

I did some checking around and found out that my "keepalive" application was eating up a lot of CPU time. that's not good.. The hosting company suggested a hardware upgrade. But, I'm not sure that's my issue. I have a 3GHZ P4, 1gig of ram and plenty of drive space. I had everything tweaked perfectly, using pageblaster. That "keepalive" application may have messed something up. I have uninstalled it. But I'm still having issues.

Sometimes the site works just fine and then it will just slow down for no reason.

I can take a look and see if I determine anything that might be causing the slowdown if you want.

You can contact me through my support forum or by e-mail the address in my profile here.
