Hi,

I created a new module, with new table and I added new methods in ASPNETmembership provider to get the values from the table (DotNetNuke.dll). It is working fine in the local place.

When I created a Module package, how should I reflect this in module package?

I am able to create a module package, when installing the same module in another instance i am able to install it. While adding the module to page, it is showing error in aspnetmemebership provider not availbale.

Please help anyone to solve this issue?

My requirement is : Create module and display the information the SQL table.

Is there any other way to achieve this?

thanks

by adding methods to aspnetmembershiprovider you are doing a core change. Your other instance will not have that core modification so thats why your module is not working

You should refrain from making core modifications because you will lose the option to upgrade in the future

You need to create your own data layer, either using DAL, DAL+ or LINQ2SQL, have a look at the tutorials at dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com.
