Hi.  I've got email notifications enabled for several events within the Event Viewer utility, and the notifications are being sent successfully.  However, when I receive a notification, it's in non-idented XML format, which makes it a bit challenging to read.

Does anyone know of a way to modify the format used for the Event Log notifications?

Here's a sample email body:

Hi. Thanks for responding.  All of the notifications from this site use the raw XML formatting. 

Here are some of the event types that we currently have enabled:

• New User
• User Deleted
• User Locked Out
• User Not Approved
• User Removed
• User Restored
• Login - SuperUser

What is a normal event email notification supposed to look like?  I guess I've never seen a formatted one before.

Yes, the formatting is normal all email notifications in the site where the templates are managed via the GlobalResources.resx file.  In other words, the emails that are generated when a user registers, a user is authorized, a role is added, etc. all are formatted like you described above.

It's only the email notifications generated by events in the Event Log that have the non-indented, raw XML formatting.  Is there a template hiding somewhere for these notifications?
