I am trying to change the way that DNN displays the edit part of the title, when I click on the pencil, over the title of the containers. I've created my own containers from tables, because I find that easier. When I try to edit the title, It shrinks down to nothing. I found that changing the element's style from a width of 100% to either nothing or some number takes care of the problem. How do I make this change permanent. I've tried CSS, but the element's style just overrides it. In the image below, I've disabled the element.style width, and the titleHead has taken over with 50px.

Element style, dnn css, edit container title

Hi,

inline styles are one oft the most annoying things when it comes to skinning in dnn.

But as I skinner you have got one last option to overwrite even inline styles: the user of  ! important after your css value:

e.g.: width: 300px !important;

Cheers,

Jo
