Hi,

I made some skins. I do not know how to place my CSS file at the top at the page. It must be appear in <asp:placeholder id="CSS" runat="server"></asp:placeholder>. I've check some default skin, it s ok.

Please see the example skins.  The css files only need to be named properly and located in the proper location relative to the skin and the skinning engine will link the css files in the proper order for you.

Thanks for reply! I've tested. My css file named xxxskin.css, after read your help, i renamed it to skin.css and place in the same dir to homskin.html. It did not work. Could you explain more clearly?

Is this what you are looking for..



<link href="[PORTALPATH]/yourfile.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

BTW in case you didnt know [PORTALPATH] is a token that DNN uses

If your skin HTML file is homskin.html then your CSS should be homskin.css .

Also, you can package multiple skins in one package by keeping the same naming convention:

skin1.html
skin1.css
skin1.xml

skin2.html
skin2.css
skin2.xml

et cetera ad nauseum...
