For the most part, I have had great experiences with load times.  That is, until recently.  Unless you contact their support regularly, you run the chance of your site running incredibly slow over time.  I have (through their support) learned that one of the factors that causes this is the event log in DNN.  However, this is clearly not the only factor when your DNN portal is hosted by WH4L.  They absolutely need to address their speed issues ASAP, as they are going to very quickly lose all of my sites and the business of those like me who continue to hash it out with their support team.

If you want to keep their services, be prepared to be in regular contact with their support team, otherwise, as a current customer, I would advise steering clear of this hosting provider until they address their network issues and optimize them for their largest customer base - shared hosting plans.

To get around the slow times, you can use a pinging service like host-tracker along with the snapsis page blaster. I had some reasonable success with that strategy (along with requesting the move to other servers). But alas, my WH4L contract expires this week and it's time to move on to a different hoster. i found some great leads in this thread.   Thanks!

BTW, my uptime has always been in the 95-98% range.
