I have just encountered a very serious problem with DNN 4.4.1 it has caused the loss of many hours of time and a very huge loss of face for our team with the end users.

I attempted to create a page that had about 100 articles.  I wanted to copy the modules and content basically making a duplicate copy of the page.  When I did this the process generated a run time error and when I went back to the original page the content was gone.

It is not in the recycle bin, it is just gone.  I can not believe I have to go to the user and tell them two weeks worth of their work just went up in smoke.  All I wanted to do is create a new copy of the page--I never expected that something like this would happen.

If anyone out there has an idea what happened or how I can get the content back please let me know.

I'm guessing a recent backup is not available.

You might want to look in the Modules table to see if there are still instances of that module.

If it is the text/html module look in that table.

Do you get any errors?  Are the modules still on the page, but just missing content?

The modules are still on the page.  The content is gone.  The first module was text/html, as was the second, the third was links and the fourth was articles.  It is all gone except for the modules.  The articles were internal job postings by my HR folks.  They posted over 100 jobs in the past two weeks and it looks like they (or I) will have to manually reenter them.  I do not understand what happened here.  A copy should be non-destructive.

Are you sure you are not in "preview" or "design" mode?

When I look at the page as a non-admin user the content is gone.  When I look at the page as a admin or host user it shows "Preview" where you have "Design".  The content in the modules is gone.  When I look at the Modules table in the database the module name is there but I am not sure what that is telling me.  There doesn't seem to be a bit to flip to get back the content in the table.  Also I don't have the Mode: radio buttons that you show in your screen shot.  I can do a webex session if you would like to look at my system---I am in shock right now.
