The documentation is still valid for version´3.x

This is one of the advantages of maintaining existing API's.

However, this is slowing down development progress, which becomes more relevant, the more mature a product becomes. Unfortunately, I do not see a solution.

The solution is to buy the PE version with comprehensive documentation

I think Nina Meyers has documentation available too - though not seen it myself.

As for the major DNN Releases 3 -> 4 -> 5... thanks for the headss up on all of this.  I think I started with DNN 4.2 (May 07) so I've not been through one yet and wasn't sure if the stability is an ongoing thing or if it does eventually get sorted out.

I suppose just a little patience (maybe pretend it's the DNN Forums module) and testing when it becomes obvious others are also moving forward with it.  I don't exactly upgrade just for the sake of it, but because I try to use all the things available in a website with a bit there (not just static with content updates).

Cheers Guys!

I see some comments about staying a version behind with DNN4. I am very happy with 04.09.02 (the latest version). Is anyone having any problems with it?

I've been very happy with v04.09.02... just a Webfarm or cluster error that is still there and I've seen happen on some other DNN sites but otherwise ok.

Finding it's more the Core Modules such as Forums that is a real let down.
