I changed the parent page of one of our Department pages with intent to move it to "Include in Menu" (the main menu) and changed the parent page to "None Specified".  I received an error but did not get a snapshot of it.  I just kept going, thinking I would have the oportunity to fix it.  Now that page and all subpages will not work.  I can manually access the top most page because I figured out how the address is messed up, and can do the same for all of the sub-pages but I can no longer navigate to them using the links on those pages.  I just get 404 errors when I try.

I hope this wasn't too confusing because I could really use some help!  Thanks all.

How do you change the page parent - in page settings or in Admin :: pages? Which DNN version are you running?

I made the change in Settings in the Control Panel.  I'm using version 4.08.00.

if you are running 4.8.0, you should upgrade asap at least to 4.9.5 for security reasons. This upgrade is rather easy. regarding your current problem I suggest using the pages module in Admin menu. this should fix all the menu structure - if you are using links within modules, you might need to adopt hem manually.

Sebastian, how do you fix this issue in pages module?
In my experience if you use human friendly url's you can't move pages
(I remove it from web.config for this reason)
