Ok I have had it up to my eyeballs and beyond with GoDaddy!

I have decided to build websites using the DotNetNuke CMS and with that and other things, GoDaddy is just NOT a good place to host when working with the .NET framework and SQL2008.

So I am looking for a really good hosting provider that is geared toward Microsoft and the .NET framework and all the good toys available with it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please keep in mind I do not have a lot of money to spend every month, I am looking for something under the $10 a month range.

Thanks and have a great day!!

Sam

I can suggest powerdnn.com . They have a good service, there servers are optimized for dotnetnuke and there response and support is quick and helpfull. They even do upgrades for you if you want!

dnn4less offer plans starting for around $5.00 a month - though watch out there if you need SSL its not supported on those cheap plans - also no static ip.

powerdnn have a $60 for a year deal on offer at the moment - also though careful here again with static ip and SSL.

PowerDNN would be my go to host. They are a few dollars a month more, but worth it. Try checking out hostgator. They have primarily been LAMP hosting but now have windows hosting. My experience with their linux hosting has been awesome.

I hear you on the go daddy. Nothing but heartache there.

Thank you all for your suggestions. The bad news is I am for now stuck with GoDaddy, I am not paying for it (my dad is), and he will not buy something else. The good news is I now have my own account and have made a lot of progress.

I will post a new thread, I have a few issues, have a question. Please see my next post in this forum section and give me a quick hand.

Thanks!

Sam
