Hello all,

I've had a massive issue with a DNN deployment. I did all of my development and testing on Godaddy's server an it was working very well. A couple of classic DNN errors but nothing mayor.
It was time for deployment and all goes to hell. My environment is:

Windows Server 2008
IIS7
.Net 3.5
DNN  05.06.00
SQL Server 2008

Firstly, I get Object not set to an instance of an object, and checking the log and there are two that show up consistently

Both on the same URL (File Manager)
RawURL: /Sertv/tabid/54/mid/807/newsid807/1416/Default.aspx

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalSettings..ctor(Int32 tabID, PortalAliasInfo objPortalAliasInfo) at DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.OnBeginRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) at System.Web.HttpApplication.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

System.Exception: Unhandled Error: ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalSettings..ctor(Int32 tabID, PortalAliasInfo objPortalAliasInfo) at DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.OnBeginRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) at System.Web.HttpApplication.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Besides this: I get that error when I make changes to a module or add a module/page or a module record. It happens randomly.

Secondly, when I make changes, they don't show up right away. So I refresh once or twice and sometimes it shows the right changes and sometimes it goes back to the old version. I restart the app and everything is fine. I think that this issue is what is making me have problems with my the top issue on other modules.

Here are my cache settings:
Page State Persistence: Page
Module Cache Provider: Memory
Cache Settings: Moderate
Authenticated Cacheability: ServerAndNoCache
Compression Settings: No Compression
Use Whitespace Filter: False

If anybody has experience with this issue, please help me as this is the first time this has happened to me.
Cheers.
