Hi Phil

After several attemps at finding a thread about this, I started at the beginning and found this...  HA!  I had gone over, under and through a terrific tutorial you sent me via email last year, trying to create a custom XSL stylesheet for the following RSS Feed - here - from fin24.com.  If you look at the source, the only namespace referenced in the feed is this xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd".  Everything I have googled on it thus far has given me squaaaaat.  (I tried emailing you about this earlier in the week.)

Anybody worked out how to solve this one..?  Particularly difficult when a client has requested this specific feed for a specific project...  Curioser and curiouser....

Look forward to hearing from you.

Jon Edwards

P.S.  Why, pray-tell, doesn't someone just create a bunch of decent XSL files (like 15 - 20) that cover a range of feed examples, and make them available for purchase on the marketplace or (im not sure if I'm allowed to say it) snowcovered..?  At least then, newbies to XSL - like me - can at least take a good few swings at any one of them and see which one works.  I skin. I don't have time to figure out docs like these...  I know that each feed is unique, but hey...  One of them must be able to do the job...  Just a thought.

Pardon me for cutting in, but I've just upgraded my test site to DNN 4.9.4 and upgraded the newsfeeds module to 4.0.1, and I immediately got the "download error" on our rehearsal podcast feed, which has worked perfectly for years.  The reason, of course, is the 'dtd' business which Phil explained a note or two ago.  This is a show stopper for me, I can't go live if I can't pull in the iTunes feed; but AFAIK, iTunes requires the "dtd".  Surely there's a fix somewhere that will allow me to make this work??
