Hi All DNN Pro's

Would it be a very different module if you would use this forum module and made a helpdesk/support module out of it? I can only think of needing to lock "my posts" button to all users and there you are ? I am correct would you guys think or is there very much more work to do to create a helpdesk module out of this forum module ?

Depends on your exact desires, but you could most likley get your desired functionality by simply not allowing users to post..

Ok, thanks för the tip but I think we will let users post but restrict them to read their own support issues and first when we have cleared the supportIssue for everybody then everybody will be able to read this ... interesting ....

I personally don't feel the forums are a good base for a support desk. I am currently writing a support desk module from the ground up, but it will not be available for several months. There are several alternatives available from DNN module developers though.
