We are already using the Forums module of our portal and were trying to use the Avatars to classify our members or core people the way we are seeing it here. We have install DNN 4.3.1. Are there bugs that are already known? Are there fixes that we need to install? Thank you veru much|!

Is no one going to answer this question? I am new to DotNetNuke. I cannot get avatars to work either. I would like to select from existing avatars or at least have the user uploaded avatar stick and work. The avatar does get upload to the ForumAvatars directory but it doesn't show. I am using 4.3.3

agreed. I can set additional avatars from the administrator account, and registered users can upload images to the gallery. however there does not seem to be a way for the users to add their uploaded image as an avatar.

in the additional avatar area there are two fields. one seems to allow for the admin to upload images to the gallery, the other to select the image that is in the gallery. this second field is what is missing in the avatar area.

any help would be appreciated..

Thank you

Using the latest forum module 3.20.08. User still cannot use avatar after uploading. Can now assign additional avatar via admin and that works but the user avatar does not. Please advise...

I am also having the same problem. I can't even assign an avatar to a user when I'm logged in as host.

What's up with the forum avatars?!
